LipKit Product Review
By Linda Eagleson
As we age, the collagen in our bodies break down, making our lips flatter and thinner. It requires more and more work to make our lips more beautiful. Recently, Doctor Bruce Freund, a cosmetic dentist from New York, sent me his "Lipkit", an intigrated set of five lip products designed to make more healthy and sensuous lips.
The "Lip Dew" is a vitamin-E moisturizer for the lips, around the eyes, and anywhere else that had lines or feels dry. It felt good on my lips, and it was nice to have a moisturizing product designed especially for the lips.
The "Lip Filler" was designed to keep the lips from "feathering". I must not have had that problem to begin with, since I didn't notice anything that changed when I used it.
The "Lip Plumper" contains I-arginine and nicotinic acid to stimulate the blood vessels and underlying tissues in the lips. It tingled, and the instructions said that after using it for a couple of weeks, my lips would be plump and kissable.
The final product was the "Lip Keep", a lipstick sealer. It goes on top of your normal lipstick to create a seal, making your lipstick last all day. It has a tingling sensation as the alcohol and other ingredients dried, leaving a waxy film on top of the softer lipstick.
I found some of these products interesting and beneficial -- items that I would add to my own collection of cosmetics. The lip plumper and lip sealer I'll leave to people who are determined to have the most beautiful lips possible.
These five products come in a compact package, easy to slip into a purse. The retail price is $59.95 and you can get it online at www.thelipclinic.com
