A life of lavishness gives one pleasure. Millionaires buy convenience. Of course no one needs a Ferrari, Lear 35A Jet or the new Phantom Rolls Royce, but if you can afford to buy such lavish items, why not?

The well-to-do are full of activity and don’t like wasting time. Because their life is hectic, they wish to optimize the time spent in any given day. If that means a private plane, a Bentley, a mega yacht or a Polanti watch to prove your status and assist you in obtaining more business from the same types of people, then go for it.

There is no typical millionaire, some hide in the shadows of their wealth while others show it off for the world to see. I have arrived! Look at me!

Today clothing of the super rich is sleek and stylish. Dress in black pants, black turtle neck, black belt and dark glasses while emanating style and wealth. Leave a fragrant trail of Hermes, Un Jardin en Meditenance or step into style with an endless choice of shoes for the traditional man. Allen-Edmonds cap-toe lace up fine shoes Edward Green shoes hand made from England and available to purchase.

Mark Sullivan stated, “Purchased new, the Navajo can be quite expensive for the Rhode Islander.” A 1982 Chieftain costs a mere half million dollars. The Chieftain is a 6-7 passenger private plane that can reach a maximum speed of 270mph.

Compare owning one of the birds of flight to actually flying like the aces of WWII in a T-6 Warbird, a special military craft oozing with history. Enjoy hands on experience as you soar into the sky while a 35mm camera attached to the left wingtip captures the flight of fancy and the in-flight video films and records each movement.

Mega rich tycoons today are purchasing military hardware such as the M18 Tank Destroyer from Yugoslavia, a 1943 high-speed tractor or an M-18 Hellcat which reaches speeds of up to 55 mph. purchasing one is with hopes of preserving American history.

Sporting a sleek look in a powerful refined automobile, it can reach speeds of up to 198mph and while touring in grand style as the image of the future.

Jake Kaplan’s in Warwick, RI premiers the “XJR supercharged V8 engine boasting 390 hp, cell phone recognition, GPS tracking system, 2 rear DVD monitors and plug and play for your laptop through Blue Tooth Wireless,” according to Robert Halsall. Or cruise in a previously owned topless XKR Jag convertible Coronado Blue LTD Edition.

Of course we can’t forget the Millionaire Yachts. A 48’ Formula with Cummins Twin Qsm-660 diesel engines have a base price not to sneeze at. Or charter the Pearl Necklace a 71 foot 1957 restored and highly distinguished classic.

From May to October, in the City by the Sea, sail on one of the American Cup contender 12 Meter Yachts offering a range of activities from corporate outings to team building to wedding events and private parties.

Seascope Yacht Charters have served Rhode Islanders since 1976 with customized outings in the waters of Newport and New England. Seascope features the Tiedemann private collection of yachts, Gleam, Northern Light and M/V Pam, as seen on the Discovery Channel, Lifestyles of the Rich and Famous.

So, what is it that millionaires are looking for? Luxury cars, aircraft, antiques and collectibles, boats and yachts, fashion, fitness, luxurious services, sports, travel and VIP Services such as once in a lifetime experiences, island escapes, high speed and shore racing.

Simply stated, drive in style, fly in style, cruise in style, sleep in style and live in style, the difference between a Timex and a Rolex!
