I sit

held tight
by this brilliant blue
feather.

One day he flew
onto my porch
to steal my Indian corn

A vision

sky blue deep blue
electric blue metallic
blue azure blue
bluest blue
brilliant blinding blue

He left me this

I sit

memory held tight
by this brilliant blue
feather.
