A look at Tappening Water Bottles Product Review by Linda Eagleson
I have to say that I am a frequent drinker of water. In fact, I drink at least 6 bottles a day, give or take a few. I walk a lot, hike, play with my dogs, and just like to keep myself hydrated. I use a refillable bottle, which I have been using for years, so I stay pretty consistent with helping the world stay green by not throwing out single-use plastic water bottles. In fact, I haven’t used a disposable plastic water bottle in over 5 years, which is pretty awesome if you ask me. I just turn on the tap or use a refrigerated water container, fill up my water bottle and away we go. So, what’s the story behind the water bottle?
Why exactly did this company decide to design a water bottle? Last year, more than
$14 billion dollars was spent on water bottles. That averages out to about $400
per person. That’s a lot of money! Wouldn’t it be easier to use tap water? Tappening thinks so!
Tap water is actually a lot purer than a lot of bottled water. Tap water has to
adhere to federal regulations on how it is treated where bottled water does not.
City tap water cannot contain any type of Ecoli, has to be filtered and disinfected
where bottled water does not. And, one of the biggest reasons to drink tap water
is that disposable water bottles require resources and their disposal contributes to
overcrowded landfills. Even recycling them still requires energy to collect, clean,
and re-manufacture them.
Tappening.com wants to make this world a better place and has therefore designed
water bottles that are completely reusable. Their reusable plastic water bottles are BPA
free, (BPA has been found to contribute to deadly diseases), affordable, ranging
from $15-$19.
They also make stainless steel water bottles. They are more durable than plastic,
reusable, washable, have a tight sealing screw-cap, and come equiped with a belt clip.
I have my own recyclable water bottle and if I ever lose it, I would consider
purchasing one from Tappening.com. And, since I am one of those finicky water
consumers that do not like the taste of chlorine, I have a water pitcher in my
house that fills my reusable water bottle. I would recommend purchasing this
bottle. It is easy to use, comes in different colors and is fairly reasonable
in price. To learn more about this product or to purchase one, please visit their

Let’s keep the green going!
