2009 Programs Begin Aboard The Blackstone Valley Explorer
Blackstone Valley Tourism Council Accepting Reservations For Education Programs, Summer Camps, Senior Groups & Charters

The Blackstone Valley Tourism Council, is now accepting reservations for programs aboard the Blackstone Valley Explorer, a 49-passenger riverboat.

Regular Sunday public tours begin aboard the Blackstone Valley Explorer Sunday, May 31, 2009 at 1, 2, 3 & 4 pm and will continue through October 2009. These 45-minute tours are narrated by an experienced river guide and depart on the hour. The Explorer departs from the Central Falls Landing on Broad Street & Madeira Avenue in Central Falls Rhode Island courtesy of the City of Central Falls. Ticket prices are $10.00 for adults and $8.00 for senior 62 or older and children 12 and under. Reservations are highly recommended.

Sunday, May 31 tours will be free as part of our Free Sundays on the River program underwritten by Citizens Bank Foundation. Free Sundays on the River will be offered the Last Sunday of the month May – September. Dates are listed below.
