April Events At Providence Children’S Museum
April is action-packed at Providence Children's Museum! Families explore the art of story quilts (April 4) and collage illustration (April 5), and enjoy spectacular school vacation programs. Meet fleecy friends (April 13), build fairy houses (April 16), get a behind-the-scenes look at sensational circus tricks (April 17)!
NEW! An Exhibit Celebrating Children’s Books Providence Children’s Museum welcomes a traveling exhibit of “Illustrator Quilts” created by author, educator and literacy consultant Muriel Feldshuh to celebrate children’s books and reading. More than 90 famous illustrators from around the country – including Eric Carle, Tomie dePaola and Marc Brown – contributed original artwork on fabric squares. Children discover their inner artist as they explore the quilts and join a collection of creative programs that celebrate the power of art and stories throughout April.
