Beginning on Thursday, February 17 at 6:30 p.m., Rosecliff will be the setting for five consecutive weeks of this international wine series. Representatives from some of the world's greatest vineyards such as Château Ste. Michelle Wine Estates, Niebaum-Coppola Winery, Maison Louis Jadot and select others, will pair their wines with food prepared by Executive Chef Robert Daugherty from the Hyatt Regency Newport Hotel and Spa. Chef Daugherty is thrilled to present this Wine Series again this year and noted, "The pairing of food and wine together is even more delicious when you have the magnificent surroundings of Rosecliff." The grand finale on March 17, 2005 will feature the Master Sommelier of Maison Louis Jadot.
"There is no more elegant setting for an event like this than Rosecliff, which was built in 1902 by one of Newport's leading society hostesses as a setting for her spectacular parties," said Preservation Society CEO Trudy Coxe. "This Food and Wine Series continues Newport's grand tradition of dining and entertaining."
Each event is priced individually at $90.00 per person inclusive.
