Arturo Sandoval Visits Woonsocket, Ri

Acclaimed trumpet virtuoso Arturo Sandoval will be performing in Woonsocket, RI at The Stadium Theatre on February 19, 2005. He will be performing throughout the country to promote his next album.

His upcoming release “Live at the Blue Note” is something of extraordinary proportions. It is a celebration of all that Arturo is and has become throughout his 42 years of constantly living in the realm of music. Recorded in June of last year, it is a musical journey through the heart and soul of Afro-Cuban Jazz, his endless love of straight-ahead jazz, the newly inspired Acid-Jazz, uproarious scatting and touching piano ballads. The CD will be accompanied by a DVD of amazing footage which took place throughout his week-long performance at the Blue Note. The album will be released in April, 2005.
