Monkey King: A Chinese New Year Special Performance

Puppetry, storytelling, and masks at Harvard's Geological Lecture Hall

Beloved characters from Chinese mythology will be featured in a special collaborative performance on Saturday January 21 with Behind the Mask Theatre and puppeteer Margaret Moody of Galapagos Puppets! Come meet the Monkey King and the Laughing Buddha and celebrate the Chinese New Year with puppetry, storytelling, and masks. Recommended for ages 5 and up accompanied by an adult.

The performance begins at 2 PM at Harvard’s Geological Lecture Hall (24 Oxford St., Cambridge). Members $2/person. Non-members, $5/person. About the Peabody Museum The Peabody Museum is among the oldest archaeological and ethnographic    museums in the world with one of the finest collections of human    cultural history found anywhere.
