Book Reviewer
It doesn't pay anything, but if you're a voracious reader and can't wait to read new books and tell people about it, we can definintely feed that hunger. We get dozens of requests each month from publishers wanting us to tell the world about their books -- some specifically about Rhode Island,
some are novels, and some are rantings of self-published lunatics -- and we can't help them without someone who reads a lot. If you want to read and tell the world about it, let us know.
Freelance Writer
Want to be paid for exploring Rhode Island? We are always looking for writers. The pay isn't much compared to what you'd get from a well-funded print publication, but if you were going to that event or exploring that corner of the state anyway, why not get paid for it?
Interns
This is like being a freelance writer but having to pay for the privilage. If you need summer intern college credit, we can put you to work.
Editors
We can always use people who posess an editorial slant and can develop new content and writers, not only for the various departments in Rhode Island Roads Magazine but also for our sister publications Massachusetts Traveler Magazine, Connecticut Traveler Magazine, and Jaunting Magazine.
