Gas Prices Rise Two Cents
AAA’s March 15 survey of gas prices in Rhode Island finds self-serve, regular unleaded averaging $2.77 per gallon, rising two cents from last week. The current price is two cents below the national average for regular unleaded of $2.79, and it marks a seven cent increase in the last month. A year ago at this time Rhode Island’s average price was $1.95—82 cents lower than today’s numbers The range in prices in the latest local survey for unleaded regular is 26 cents, from a low of $2.609 to a high of $2.869. AAA advises motorists to shop around for the best prices for gas in their area, and to make sure they and their passengers buckle up — every time. | ||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
