The town of Coventry includes the villages of Vaughn Hollow, Rice City, Fairbanks Corner, Grene, Hopkins Hollow, Summit, Gortons Corner, Potterville, Spring Lake, Washington, Anthony, Quidnick, Colvintown, Arkwright, and Coventry Center.
Of special note, check out the old rail line that has become Trestle Trail, a modern hiking trail. The developed portion ends in Coventry Center, but the old railbed can be spotted all the way into Connecticut. Look
for small diners along the country roads as your best bet for food. Or find Route 3, which is more devloped, and has many choices, including "Appetite's" family restaurant and many national chains. The town is also home of Nathanael Greene's homestead.
To get to Coventry Center from I-95, take Exit 5 onto Route 102 north about five miles to Route 117. Turn right and go east for two miles.
